Smoke and Thyme

Smoke and Thyme, the formerly nomadic supper club of Chef Jack Greenall, will be open as an Autumn Pop-Up Restaurant every Thursday, Friday and Saturday evening from September to November.

The seasonal, a la carte menu will change every month and is based on Chef Jack’s favourite dishes from the last three years of supper clubs and features a range of cuisines, especially Modern British, Cajun/Creole and Indian.

Smoke and Thyme aspires to nothing less than serving the best food in Oxford, in a relaxed and intimate setting around a communal table.

Reservations for the Autumn Pop-Up are open now. Based on early interest, they are expected to fill up quickly and be sold out.

  • Would I visit Smoke and Thyme again? Definitely. The food was simple, well-executed, and tasty. I’m keen to go back and try some more.

  • Half the joy of going to Jack Greenall’s house for dinner is you never know who you’ll meet…. Like a great French wine you drink on holiday, some things are best enjoyed in the moment – you can’t take them home – and so much of dinner at Jack’s house you couldn’t replicate anywhere else.

  • An imaginative fusion of flavours, but also a knack for
transforming the most unlikely space into a high-end restaurant.
